High School In-Home Math & Science Tutor – English & French Instruction

Job Description

Tutor Doctor Sudbury is currently seeking reliable, enthusiastic tutors to provide one-on-one, in-home tutoring in high school Math and Science throughout the Greater Sudbury area.

We are specifically seeking candidates capable of teaching in English and/or French in one or more of the following subject areas:

• High School Math / Mathématiques au secondaire
• Functions \& Advanced Functions / Fonctions et fonctions avancées
• Calculus \& Vectors / Calcul différentiel et vecteurs
• Biology / Biologie
• Chemistry / Chimie
• Physics / Physique

Both English-speaking and French-speaking tutors are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Strong background in high school Math and/or Science
• Ability to teach in English and/or French
• Postsecondary education in a related field preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must have access to a reliable personal vehicle for travel to students’ homes throughout Greater Sudbury
• Valid driver’s licence required
• Criminal background / vulnerable sector check required (at applicant’s expense)

University students, OCT candidates, retired teachers, engineers, healthcare professionals, and bilingual STEM professionals are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
