National Sameday is a leading time-critical logistics and courier company operating across six major UK airports. We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Glasgow operation on a permanent part-time basis.

This role offers fixed weekly shifts every Friday and Sunday night, making it ideal for drivers looking for regular part-time work with guaranteed hours and long-term stability.

The Role

You will be responsible for completing scheduled deliveries and collections while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle
• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks
• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely
• Complete all transport and delivery documentation accurately
• Comply with Driver Hours Regulations and company procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Professional and reliable approach to work
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

FLT experience is desirable but not essential.

Security Clearance Requirements

As a CAA-regulated company, successful applicants must be be willing to complete:

• Driver assessment
• Criminal Records Check (CRC)
• Full 5-year employment history and reference checks
