HGV Class 1 Driver

For over 60 years, Carey Glass UC has been pushing the boundaries of what is possible with glass. We operate our own modern, well‑maintained fleet of HGVs, delivering throughout Ireland and the UK.

Due to continued growth, we are now seeking an experienced Artic Driver to join our team.

The Role

• Daily position, Monday to Friday
• No sleeping out – ideal for a locally based driver
• A variety of runs, offering varying day lengths and a strong work/life balance
• Operating modern company vehicles as part of our in‑house fleet
• Daily rate of pay applies

This role particularly suits drivers based locally, helping to limit commute time and costs.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• Full clean Category C or Category C+E driving licence
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Current CPC card (modules fully up to date)
• Previous driving experience (advantageous)
• Good communication skills
• Safe, professional, and reliable work approach
