Heavy Vehicle Driver

We are currently seeking a well-rounded and experienced HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVER who has extensive experience in transportation business to join our team in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.

Position: HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVER

Job Description:

Gujjar Transport is looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our operations team in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods across UAE routes while ensuring timely delivery, vehicle safety, and compliance with company and road regulations.

Please note that the role is based in our office headquarters at Umm Al Quwain.

Responsibilities:

· Operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently across UAE routes

· Assist in loading and unloading cargo when required

· Coordinate with the transport and dispatch team regarding schedules, delivery status, and route updates.

· Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness

· Maintain fuel efficiency and proper care of company vehicles

· Ensure all trip sheets, fuel receipts, delivery notes, and related documents are properly submitted

· Follow UAE traffic laws, safety standards, and company transport policies

· Assist in operating light vehicles when required by the company

· Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or maintenance requirements immediately

Requirements:

· Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience operating heavy vehicles

· Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License – Category 3 \& 4 (Mandatory)

· Experience driving flatbeds, trailers, low beds, side loaders, or other heavy goods vehicles is preferred

· Good knowledge of UAE roads, routes, and traffic regulations

· Basic English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)

· Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious personality

· Ability to work independently and under pressure
