Position Title: Heavy Truck Driver

Reports To: Roads \& Drainage Foreperson

Business Division: Roads and Drainage Division

Posting Date: August 18, 2026- open until filled

Number of Positions: 1 (One)

Length of Position: Permanent Full-Time

Duties:

• Operates and maintains heavy trucks and other equipment such as;
• Tandem and Three-Ton Trucks
• Skid Steer
• Ladder Truck
• Maintains assigned equipment, tools, and vehicles
• Logs and records information such as pre-trip vehicle inspections
• Performs labour and other tasks as required

Education

• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement
• Fireman’s Boiler Operator License

Experience and Additional Requirements

• 1 year of relevant work experience
• Ability to drive standard transmission vehicles up to 13 speed

The following credential would be considered an asset:

• Valid Class 1A Driver’s License with Airbrake Endorsement

Salary

This position has a starting salary of $ 31.18 per hour in accordance with the 2026 CUPE rates.
