Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues and ensuring that all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy construction equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and engine-related problems.
• Repair and maintain excavators, JCBs, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and other heavy machinery.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
• Replace defective parts and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain service records and report equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic.
• Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction machinery.
• Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and mechanical components.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Technical or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle urgent equipment repairs.

• Must be currently available in Bahrain.
• Experience in the construction industry is required.
