ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Healthcare Assistant at Truly Dental, you will play a vital part in ensuring every patient receives outstanding clinical support and a positive experience from arrival to departure. Working closely with our dental professionals, you will assist with clinical procedures, maintain infection control standards, and contribute to the smooth running of the practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing clinical support to dental professionals including treatment preparation and patient care coordination
- Assessing and monitoring patient wellbeing before, during, and after clinical procedures
- Implementing and maintaining infection control protocols and clinical support standards
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient health records in compliance with GDPR
- Supporting the supervision and mentoring of junior healthcare support staff
- Liaising with clinical leads regarding patient health status, medication history, and relevant risk factors
- Contributing to health and safety compliance and clinical governance standards
- Supporting staff training and competency development in patient care and emergency response
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Science, or a related clinical discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient care, infection control, and clinical procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland
DESIRABLE
- Experience in a dental or primary care setting
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems and GDPR obligations
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior clinical staff
