Health Pathways is an on-line clinical guidance platform for Canterbury Health System clinicians

Health Pathways is an integral part of the Canterbury Health System's way of doing things. The Canterbury Pathways team sits within the Canterbury CMO office and is made up of staff who hold roles as Coordinators, Clinical Editors (Doctors, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals), and Subject Matter Experts.

0.5 FTE positions are available in Health Pathways. You will be working for Hospital Health Pathways as a clinical editor (writing pathways with appropriate support and expert input). This role does not provide clinical/patient contact.

About you

  • You will have completed PGY2.
  • You will have experience in a number of hospital departments.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who have experience of the local hospital systems and, through their experience, have good relationships with local hospital clinicians.
  • Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
  • A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
  • You must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility by visiting the Council's website at www.mcnz.org.nz
