About the Roles
We are looking for a Head of Indoor Sales & Customer Service to lead internal sales operations and customer support within the Freight Forwarding industry. This permanent position is based in Paya Lebar and follows a regular Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule. The role offers a competitive basic salary with AWS, providing stability and the opportunity to oversee key accounts while strengthening service and sales performance.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and manage indoor sales and sales support functions to ensure seamless service delivery for local clients.
- Oversee daily enquiries related to Air & Ocean Freight (Import/ Export) and prepare comprehensive quotations from initiation to completion.
- Design competitive pricing structures and customized solutions for project cargo, oversized shipments, and container optimization.
- Coordinate RFQs and cross-border trucking arrangements between Singapore and Malaysia alongside the customer service team.
- Partner with management to drive indoor sales initiatives and operational improvements.
- Handle enquiries from key accounts, including companies within the Oil/ Drilling & Gas industry and furniture trading businesses in Singapore.
- Monitor and respond to overseas enquiries, ensuring quotations are issued promptly and agent requests are properly managed.
- Support the General Manager in supervising customer service and sales support activities across operations.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in sales support, customer service, or freight forwarding.
- Sound understanding of Air & Ocean Freight operations and project cargo handling.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with confidence in engaging clients and management stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for preparing quotations and reports.
