Job Description

Role Purpose

You will be the architect of IMAN's people experience — from how we hire, onboard, and develop talent, to how we build a high-performance culture rooted in Islamic values and creative excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Culture \& Organisational Health

  • Define, protect and evolve IMAN's culture — rooted in Islamic values, creative excellence, and community purpose
  • Design and run culture rituals: onboarding, town halls, team retreats, recognition programmes
  • Build an Islamic workplace environment that is inclusive, high-trust, and growth-oriented
  • Serve as the internal culture ambassador and values champion across all departments

2. Talent Acquisition

  • Own the end-to-end hiring process: job design, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer
  • Build IMAN's employer brand on Eurostaffs, Eurostaffs, and creative talent platforms
  • Design an interview framework and scoring rubric that assesses both competency and culture-fit
  • Build a talent pipeline for critical creative roles (editors, designers, marketers, content creators)

3. Performance Management

  • Design and implement a high-performance review cycle (OKR-based or hybrid KPI model)
  • Coach department heads on how to give meaningful feedback and manage underperformance
  • Build career ladders for creative, editorial, and commercial roles
  • Link performance outcomes to compensation, recognition, and promotion pathways

4. Learning \& Development

  • Build an L\&D roadmap across the organisation — from frontline staff to HODs
  • Source and manage external training vendors, coaching programmes, and Islamic leadership development
  • Design a structured onboarding programme for all new hires (30/60/90 day plan)
  • Champion a learning culture where curiosity, growth, and skill development are celebrated

5. Talent Management \& Succession

  • Identify high-potential employees and build structured development plans
  • Design a succession map for all critical roles across the Group
  • Support the CEO in building a leadership pipeline for the 2026–2028 growth phase

6. HR Operations \& Compliance

  • Manage all HR policies, employee handbook, and Employment Act 2022 compliance
  • Oversee payroll coordination, leave management, and HR administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Manage employee relations: grievances, performance improvement plans, exits

Pay: RM6,500.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Free parking
  • Maternity leave
  • Opportunities for promotion
  • Professional development
  • Work from home

Work Location: In person
