Head Chef

The Queens Royal is looking for an experienced, passionate and motivated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team.

Following significant investment, we’re continuing to grow our food offering with a focus on quality, consistency and creating a great experience for every guest. We’re looking for a leader who takes pride in their food, develops their team and enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The Role

As Head Chef you will:

• Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen team.
• Maintain consistently high food quality and presentation.
• Create and develop seasonal menus and specials.
• Manage stock ordering, GP and food costs.
• Ensure excellent food hygiene and health \& safety standards.
• Manage kitchen rotas and labour costs.
• Work closely with management to grow the food business.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef ready to step up.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and HACCP.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Passion for fresh food and delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing kitchen costs.
