Head Barista

Ruzbi Café is looking for a responsible and professional team member for the position of Head Barista.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards.
- ⁠Ensure consistent quality of all drinks and maintain presentation standards.
- ⁠Operate, calibrate, and maintain espresso machines and coffee equipment.
- ⁠Monitor coffee extraction, grinder settings, and recipe compliance.
- ⁠Train, supervise, and support barista team members.
- ⁠Manage daily opening and closing bar operations.
- ⁠Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering requirements.
- ⁠Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area at all times.
- ⁠Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
- ⁠Deliver excellent customer service and handle guest inquiries professionally.
- ⁠Support smooth communication between the bar and service teams.
- ⁠Assist management in maintaining operational standards and improving workflow.

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Dubai.
- ⁠Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience operating a Synesso coffee machine
- ⁠Strong communication skills, politeness, and professional appearance.
- ⁠Responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- ⁠Good English communication skills.
- ⁠Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- ⁠Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- ⁠Ability to lead and train junior baristas.
- ⁠Passion for coffee and hospitality.
