Junior Hairdresser / Trainee Stylist – Salon Experience Preferred

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Hairdresser / Trainee Stylist to join our friendly, professional salon.

Ideally, you'll have some salon experience, perhaps a second-year apprentice or someone who's already confident with shampooing, applying tints and blow-drying, and is keen to build on those skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a busy salon with a lovely, loyal clientele. You'll gain valuable hands-on experience, receive ongoing training and develop your skills in a supportive environment, with the opportunity to progress towards becoming a fully qualified stylist.

Your Role Will Include

• Welcoming clients and helping them feel comfortable and looked after.
• Shampooing, conditioning and preparing clients for services.
• Applying root tints and assisting with colour services.
• Blow-drying and styling hair.
• Assisting stylists with colour, cutting and other salon services.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and professional salon.
• Building your confidence and developing your technical skills through hands-on experience.

What We're Looking For

• Some previous salon experience or current hairdressing training.
• Ideally, experience with tints and blow-drying.
• A genuine passion for hairdressing and a desire to improve.
• A friendly, positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Someone reliable, punctual, well presented and hardworking.
• A team player who takes pride in their work and enjoys looking after clients.
• Someone eager to learn, take direction and develop into a confident stylist.
