Hairdresser

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Hairdresser / Hair Stylist to join our friendly and welcoming salon in Magheraboy, Co. Sligo.

The ideal candidate will be confident in all aspects of hairdressing, have excellent customer service skills and take pride in delivering high-quality results. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hairdressing, enjoys working as part of a team and is committed to providing clients with a professional and enjoyable salon experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of ladies' and gents' hairdressing.
• Provide professional cutting, styling, blow-drying and finishing services.
• Perform all colouring techniques, including full colour, highlights, balayage, root touch-ups and colour corrections.
• Carry out hair treatments, conditioning services and other specialist hairdressing treatments.
• Provide professional hair consultations and recommend suitable styles, colours and treatments.
• Offer styling services for special occasions, including upstyles and occasion hair.
• Maintain excellent standards of customer service and client satisfaction.
• Ensure all salon equipment, tools and workstations are kept clean, organised and maintained to a high standard.
• Work effectively as part of a team while also being confident managing appointments independently.
• Stay up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques and products.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a hairdresser in a professional salon environment.
• Competent and confident in all areas of hairdressing, particularly cutting, colouring and styling.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, reliable and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
