Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to each client's preferences.
• Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering expert advice on hair care and styling options.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Ability to upsell retail products and promote salon services confidently.
• Basic retail sales experience is preferred.
• Front desk experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
• A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
