Gutter Install Technician

Duties

• Measure, cut, and install various types of gutters, downspouts, and related components according to project specifications and blueprints
• Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, levels, and caulking guns to ensure precise installation
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects
• Prepare work sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding or ladders safely, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards
• Conduct inspections of installed systems for proper alignment, sealing, and functionality
• Assist in the fabrication of custom gutter sections or brackets when necessary using fabrication tools

Requirements

• Proven experience with construction site work, roofing, or related trades such as carpentry or masonry is highly preferred
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating processes
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for site preparation or material handling
• Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools including saws, drills, caulking guns, and measuring devices
• Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to work at heights on ladders or scaffolding
• Experience with other trades such as plumbing or electrical work is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
