Guitar Rock/Pop Music Teacher - Beginner to advanced (Self-Employed Role)

Blast Music Academy is a fun, modern rock/pop music school based in Enfield, Co. Meath, with over 300 weekly students and a team of 7 teachers. We specialise in rock band classes and engaging music lessons for children, teens, and adults. We are not your average music school. We are all about getting performers up on stage and playing with a live band.

We are not exam/grade focused.

We are seeking an energetic and encouraging Guitar Teacher to join our team from September 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Teach beginner to advanced guitar to children, teens, and adults
  • Teaching an additional instrument (bass, ukulele, drums, keyboard or vocals) from beginners to intermediate students is an asset
  • Teach rock band classes
  • Teach music theory on your main instrument
  • Deliver engaging and fun one-to-one and small group lessons
  • Prepare students for performances and showcases
  • Support concerts, showcases, and academy events

Requirements

  • Advanced guitar teaching experience
  • Live gigging/band experience essential
  • Experience composing/performing/recording original music
  • Experience teaching young musicians and adults
  • Strong communication and tech skills
  • Full driving license and own transport
  • Tailor lesson plans to the students' musical interests and needs
  • Friendly, energetic, and reliable
  • Be able to deliver results in a low pressure, fun classroom environment
  • Available for training in August 2026

  • Our Opening hours: 14:00-21:30pm (Mon-Fri), 10:00-5:30pm (Sat)
