Who We Are
NextGen Kitchens builds the commerce operating system for multi-vendor venues: food halls, food courts, mixed-use developments, and airport/stadium F\&B. Our platform runs ordering, operations, and settlement for customers, vendors, and the property teams that oversee them.
We're a small, fast-moving team where AI is part of how everyone works, not a side project. We're hiring someone to own the front of the funnel and the first 90 days of the customer journey.
The Role
This is a hands-on, high-energy role that spans the full customer lifecycle. You'll knock on doors, run outbound campaigns, work inbound leads, help get new venues live, and stay close to customers after launch. You'll use AI tools daily to research, write, prioritize, and automate so your time goes to conversations, not admin.
What You'll Do
Lead generation (outbound + inbound)
- Walk into food halls, food courts, and mixed-use properties and start conversations with operators and landlords.
- Build and run outbound sequences (email, Eurostaffs, phone) using AI-assisted research and copy.
- Qualify and respond to inbound leads fast, book demos, and keep the pipeline clean.
- Test channels, measure what works, and double down on it.
Marketing support
- Run and monitor Google Ads and Meta campaigns targeting food hall operators and landlords.
- Own basic SEO hygiene: landing page copy, keywords, and tracking what converts.
- Maintain a simple content cadence on Eurostaffs and Instagram using AI tools for drafting.
- Track channel performance and report what's driving leads.
Add to "Nice-to-Haves":
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, or SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console).
Pre-onboarding
- Collect vendor menus, branding, and setup details before go-live.
- Coordinate with engineering and the property team so launches land on schedule.
- Run training sessions for vendors and venue staff.
Post-launch customer support
- Be the first friendly voice when a customer needs help.
- Triage issues, resolve what you can, and route the rest to the right person.
- Spot patterns in support requests and feed them back to product.
AI-first operations
- Use tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and AI-powered sales/CRM tools to research prospects, draft outreach, summarize calls, and automate follow-up.
- Build your own workflows and share what works with the team.
What You Bring
- 1–3 years in sales, business development, hospitality, or customer-facing roles. Restaurant or food hall experience is a plus.
- Comfortable with face-to-face, cold outreach. You're not afraid to walk in and pitch.
- Fluent with AI tools and eager to find new ways to use them.
- Organized, fast, and self-directed. You can run your own week.
- Clear writer and confident communicator.
- Curious about restaurant tech, commercial real estate, and how food businesses actually make money.
- Ability to travel locally within Metro Vancouver (car or transit).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience selling to restaurants, landlords, or property managers.
- Familiarity with POS, online ordering, or delivery platforms
- Experience with CRM or outreach tools
- Experience building automations
