Ground Screw Installer / Experienced Groundworker – Self-Employed

About Just Bases

Just Bases is a growing specialist ground screw and foundation installation company, delivering high-quality foundation solutions for garden buildings, modular structures and commercial projects.

We are looking for an exceptional, experienced tradesperson to join our installation team and develop their skills in this specialist sector.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced self-employed groundworker, landscaper, fencing contractor or existing ground screw installer who takes genuine pride in their work.

Previous ground screw installation experience is desirable but not essential. Full training on our specialist installation equipment and techniques will be provided to the right candidate.

We want someone who is technically capable, reliable, professional and confident working on customers' properties and commercial sites.

This is an opportunity to develop into a specialist installer, with the potential to take responsibility for projects independently as the business grows.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in groundworks, landscaping, fencing, foundations or a similar trade.
• Excellent workmanship and attention to detail.
• A professional, polite and respectful manner.
• Strong practical ability and confidence using construction equipment.
• Ability to follow drawings, levels and installation specifications.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Willingness to learn specialist installation techniques.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Existing self-employed status or suitability for genuine subcontract arrangements.

What We Provide

• Company vehicle for work-related use.
• All specialist ground screw installation machinery and equipment.
• All necessary tools and installation materials.
• Specialist training and ongoing support.
• Competitive day rates with opportunities for additional performance-related earnings.
• Varied domestic and commercial projects.
• Potential for regular ongoing work.

Who We're Looking For

We are not looking for a general labourer.

We are looking for an experienced tradesperson who already operates to a high standard, takes pride in their work and wants to be rewarded for their skills, reliability and effort.

We value professionalism, efficiency, customer service and consistently excellent workmanship.

How to Apply

Please provide a brief description of your trade experience, current working arrangements and any relevant qualifications.

Examples or photographs of previous work would be welcomed.
