The Opportunity
Based at our Dandenong depot, this role offers hands-on exposure to all facets of bus operations. You’ll be guided, coached and mentored by experienced operations leaders, gaining practical experience while developing the skills needed to progress.
This position forms part of an exciting two-year development pathway, with the opportunity to transition into an Operations Supervisor role as you grow and develop.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the Depot Manager and Operations team with a range of operational and administrative duties, including:
- Supporting daily depot and transport operations
- Reviewing and retrieving CCTV footage
- Assisting with basic investigations into minor incidents and complaints
- Conducting compliance checks (pre-check inspections, cleanliness checks, licence checks)
- Completing daily data entry into internal transport systems, including incidents, complaints and vehicle defects
- Ordering uniforms for drivers and depot staff and maintaining accurate records
- Preparing and maintaining operational reports (licence, performance and Myki reports)
- General administrative duties, including stationery and depot supply orders
- Taking minutes during disciplinary and operational meetings

- A genuine passion for learning and taking initiative
- Relevant qualifications in Operations or Business Management (or working towards)
- Experience in general administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written \& verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- A current Australian driver’s licence
