Job Description

POSITION: Goods Processing and Clerical Support Administrator —PERMANENT after 6 months probation, full time — 40 hours per week, 8am-4:30pm

JOB ROLE NOTES: We require a diligent administration office support person to assist with all inbound and outbound items. You will be working in a small friendly team to ensure company business continuity in conjunction with our calibration and repair workshops and our clients. We are looking for an individual with good communication skills, who is able to fulfil a task in its entirety and thrives on excellent customer satisfaction. The environment is light industrial, with various workshops and the role is completed in both office and warehouse context.

LOCATION: Norwich—Broadland Business Park– NR7 0WF

SALARY: Starting £26, 436 + individual and company bonus (up to 10% subject to performance)

START DATE: As soon as possible

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Working within a team being responsible for processing all items received to NIS via either our trade counter, our companies own delivery vehicles and 3rd party couriers

· Accurate data entry and ensuring equipment had correct documentation to facilitate the business process with attention to detail to ensure a smooth process

· Administration support to the internal calibration and repair workshops to manage clients expectations

· Answering phones and processing client queries to completion

· Interfacing with all internal levels of the company

· Carry out any other reasonable tasks as deemed necessary by a manager.

QUALIFICATIONS \& KEY SKILLS

· Able to work on own initiative is essential and work well within a team to deadlines

· Computer literate (access to service diagrams, ability to send emails, update electronic records) Microsoft office (Word/Excel/Outlook)

· Working knowledge of generic office systems and processes -(client payments, invoice generation, purchase order requests etc.)

· Familiarity with a service company is preferable but not essential – on job specialist training will be given for internal systems

· Some lifting is involved with this role (circa 20kgs) and often items require team lifting.

· Positive client and peer feedback

· Exceptional organisation \& tidiness with a methodical approach to workflow

· On-going management appraisal.
