We are seeking a qualified and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and interpreting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil and rock properties, preparing technical reports, and providing engineering recommendations for construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate geotechnical site investigations and field testing activities.
- Review borehole logs, laboratory test results, and geotechnical data.
- Conduct geotechnical analysis related to foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, earthworks, and ground improvement.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, recommendations, and design calculations.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor field activities and provide technical guidance to site teams.
- Review and approve laboratory and field testing reports.
- Support project proposals, technical submissions, and business development activities.
- Maintain quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical investigation techniques.
- Experience in geotechnical laboratory testing and interpretation of test results.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, BS, AASHTO, and Eurocodes.
- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills.
