The General Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of technical and maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation, safety, and functionality of equipment, systems, or facilities. This role requires a hands-on individual with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various mechanical, electrical, or structural systems.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools, and facilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or technical issues.
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
Follow preventative maintenance schedules and complete service reports.
Assist in the installation, setup, or modification of equipment and systems.
Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, or supervisors as needed.
Maintain records of work performed and materials used.
