General Manager - F&B

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Parker's, Somewhere, Public, Soil, Shalwa and Kumo.

We are seeking an experienced General Manager – F\&B to lead the overall performance of a restaurant concept, driving operational excellence, financial performance, and team development. The role will be responsible for maximizing profitability, maintaining brand standards, and delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete operations and performance of the restaurant concept.
• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and operational targets.
• Manage P\&L performance, including sales growth, labor cost, food cost, and operational expenses.
• Lead and develop Restaurant Managers and operational teams to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure consistent implementation of brand standards, SOPs, and service excellence.
• Analyze business performance reports and implement improvement strategies.
• Drive guest satisfaction initiatives and enhance overall customer experience.
• Support new openings, expansion projects, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with culinary, marketing, finance, HR, and supply chain teams.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Requirements

• Minimum 8–10 years of F\&B experience, with proven experience as a General Manager or senior operations leader.
• Strong experience managing high-volume restaurants or multiple outlets.
• Demonstrated experience in P\&L management and achieving financial targets.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage large teams.
• Experience in premium casual dining, fine dining, or multi-brand restaurant environments preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of F\&B trends, guest experience, and operational excellence.
