General Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our ELV / technical company based in Ajman.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years accounting experience in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of Tally / QuickBooks / ERP systems
• Experience in construction / ELV / contracting industry preferred
• Good understanding of VAT accounting and UAE tax regulations (FTA compliance)
• Strong Excel skills (reports, reconciliation, data analysis)
• Ability to work independently and handle full set of accounts

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger)
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
• Handle invoicing, payment follow-ups, and supplier reconciliations
• Manage VAT filing and supporting documentation
• Monitor project expenses and assist in job cost tracking
• Coordinate with auditors during annual audits
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation
• Support management with monthly MIS reports

Preferred:

• Experience in ELV / construction / contracting companies in UAE
• Knowledge of project-based accounting
• Familiarity with supplier payment cycles and retention handling

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
