Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Gate Security Officer to oversee access control and maintain a secure environment at our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing entry points, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and signing in/out personnel. Your proactive approach will help safeguard personnel, property, and information while providing excellent customer service. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a safe and secure environment through active monitoring, incident management, and enforcement of security regulations.

Duties

• Control access for employees, contractors, and vendors using access control systems on Oil and Gas facilities
• Sign in/out all personnel comming to and from location.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established emergency response procedures, including CPR and AED operation

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to get to and from location
• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military roles is highly desirable
• Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use preferred
• Ability to perform background checks and conduct thorough incident report writing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict effectively and de-escalate tense situations
• Physically capable of heavy lifting and performing patrols that require standing or walking for extended periods
