Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain lawns, shrubs, trees, indoor and outdoor plants, and automatic irrigation systems across the facility’s grounds.
- Diagnose and repair landscaping issues, including plant diseases, pest infestations, nutrient deficiencies, and faults in irrigation pipes, drippers, or solenoid valves.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PPM), including lawn mowing, precision hedging, soil aeration, weeding, and adjusting automated irrigation controllers and timers based on seasonal weather changes.
- Replace dead or damaged vegetation, repot indoor greens, apply fertilizers or pesticides safely, and execute necessary pruning to maintain aesthetic and safety clearances.
- Ensure strict compliance with municipal environmental regulations, water conservation guidelines, and occupational safety procedures regarding chemical handling and sharp tool operations.
- Maintain accurate records of fertilizer application logs, chemical inventories, irrigation schedules, and plant health reports.
- Respond to emergency landscaping issues (such as fallen tree branches blocking access routes, major irrigation leaks, or storm damage cleanup) in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Landscaper, Gardener, or Grounds Maintenance Worker within a commercial facility, resort, community development, or corporate office campus.
- Technical diploma or certificate in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscape Design, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of local plant varieties, turf management, pruning techniques, soil science, and the mechanical/electrical components of automated drip and sprinkler irrigation networks.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape architectural layouts, irrigation schematic drawings, and chemical application datasheets.
- Good troubleshooting and attention to detail to optimize irrigation water zones, identify early signs of plant stress, and maintain flawless geometric hedges and lawn patterns.
- Physically fit to handle intensive fieldwork, lift heavy landscaping materials, operate power equipment (mowers, trimmers, chainsaws), and work continuously in varying outdoor weather conditions.
- Valid UAE driving license is required.
Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
