Furniture retail Sales Consultant (Design Background Preferred)

Overview

DUO Concepts is a modern furniture and home solutions company specializing in space-saving furniture, wall beds, and modular systems.

We work closely with homeowners, designers, and trade professionals to deliver functional and design-forward solutions.

We are currently hiring a Sales Consultant with a background in interior design, furniture, cabinetry, or building materials, who is comfortable turning design conversations into closed sales.

Responsibilities

• Consult customers on furniture and space solutions
• Understand floor plans, layouts, and design intent
• Recommend suitable products based on space and budget
• Prepare quotations and explain pricing clearly
• Follow up and close sales
• Coordinate with internal teams on delivery and installation

Requirements

• Experience in furniture, cabinetry, building materials, or interior design
• Ability to read basic drawings or understand space layouts
• Comfortable discussing pricing, lead times, and installation
• Sales-oriented mindset with strong follow-up discipline

This Role Is NOT

• A pure interior designer role
• A marketing or social media position

Your success is measured by sales closed, not design tasks completed.
