About Us

BUKO Furniture specializes in authentic vintage Danish and Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern furniture. We source original pieces directly from Denmark and carefully restore them before offering them to customers throughout the United States.

Our collection includes designers and manufacturers such as Arne Vodder, Kai Kristiansen, Johannes Andersen, Niels Møller, Dyrlund, Omann Jun, and many others.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and enjoys bringing high-quality furniture back to life.

Responsibilities

• Restore vintage Danish and Scandinavian furniture
• Sand, strip, clean, and prepare wood surfaces
• Apply stains, oils, lacquer, and other wood finishes
• Perform veneer repairs and touch-ups
• Repair scratches, dents, water damage, and finish defects
• Tighten and repair chairs, tables, cabinets, and other furniture
• Perform minor woodworking repairs
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop
• Work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience in furniture restoration, woodworking, cabinet making, or fine woodworking.

Ideal candidates have experience with:

• Furniture refinishing
• Wood repair
• Veneer repair
• Spray finishing
• Lacquer finishes
• Color matching
• Wood stains and oils
• Sanding techniques
• Hand and power tools

Experience with Mid-Century Modern furniture is a strong plus.

Compensation \& Benefits

• $30–40/hour depending on experience

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
