Full Stack Software Engineer - Node.js, AI

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to drive the technical evolution of a strategic developer-experience tool designed to elevate design quality across enterprise products.

In this role, you will work across the entire stack, bridging user-friendly frontend experiences with cutting-edge AI enablement. You will lead the development of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, designed to host, version, and expose codified UX design standards. This architecture enables AI coding agents and IDE environments to actively consume rule sets.

Please note, the position requires hybrid (3 days office) work in Krakow, Wroclaw or Gdansk

Responsibilities

• Architect \& Build MCP Servers: Drive the design, development, and implementation of a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, allowing AI coding assistants and automation workflows to seamlessly query and enforce UX rulesets
• Fullstack Development: Maintain and extend the UX Scanner end-to-end — improving the React.js frontend visual reporting interface while scaling the underlying Node.js backend logic and microservices
• Codify UX Standards: Analyze human-readable UX product guidelines (typography, colors, shell structures, action placements) and translate them into robust, machine-readable JSON/YAML rules
• Host \& Secure Cloud Deployments: Manage and deploy APIs, rulesets, and fullstack services securely on cloud platforms, ensuring stable version control and scalable access
• CI/CD \& DevTools Integration: Work on developer-focused CLI integrations, IDE plugins, or pipelines that enable shift-left automated design audits
• Expert Collaboration: Partner closely with UX design experts to continuously align machine-readable rules with design specifications, establishing a clean human-in-the-loop workflow

Requirements

• Full Stack Engineering: Proficiency in building responsive frontend applications in React.js and high-performance backend services in Node.js/TypeScript
• MCP \& API Development: Deep hands-on experience designing and building Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, RESTful/gRPC APIs, and custom developer tools
• AI \& Agentic Workflows: Solid understanding of generative AI, LLM APIs, and how AI-assisted coding agents consume real-time external tools and rulesets
• Rules \& Automation Engineering: Proven experience codifying complex logical standards or linting patterns into clean JSON/YAML structures
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience deploying, versioning, and managing secure fullstack cloud applications — familiarity with the SAP BTP ecosystem would be a strong advantage but is not mandatory
• UI/UX Engineering Mindset: High comfort level with web standards (DOM structure, CSS, accessibility) and a strong logical grasp of component design (pages, dialogs, button behaviors)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, B2 level of English
