A Full Stack Developer designs, develops, and maintains both the frontend (user interface) and backend (server, database, APIs) parts of web or mobile applications.
They can work across the entire software stack, making them valuable in startups, enterprise companies, fintech, e-commerce, and SaaS businesses.
Typical Responsibilities
Debug and troubleshoot applications
Write clean and maintainable code
Participate in Agile/Scrum development
Collaborate with designers, DevOps, and QA teams
