Full Stack Developer (Laravel & React)

Job Purpose
The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Laravel (backend) and React (frontend). The role requires expertise in building secure APIs, responsive user interfaces, and ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems. The successful candidate will own and deliver features end to end, from database design through to a polished user experience, and will work closely with designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable,
high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Laravel (PHP) and React
• (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration with frontend components.
• Develop reusable, component-based UIs and manage application state effectively (Redux, Context,Hooks)
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established best practices and coding standards.
• Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX in close collaboration with designers.
• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability across all layers of the stack.
• Design and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and implement efficient, optimized queries.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues across development, staging, and production environments.
• Implement and maintain automated tests to safeguard quality and prevent regressions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, QA, DevOps) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and estimation sessions.
• Stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and best practices in full-stack development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in full-stack web development.
• Strong backend development experience with Laravel (PHP), including Eloquent, queues, and
• middleware.
• Proficiency in React.js and the React ecosystem (Redux, Hooks; Next.js a plus).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON data exchange, and API authentication.
• Database management experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Candidates must be currently residing in Qatar.

Pay: QAR1.00 per month

Work Location: In person
