Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Fuel Refinery Systems IT Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize IT infrastructure and industrial systems within refinery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure reliable system performance, cybersecurity compliance, and seamless integration between refinery control systems and enterprise technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support refinery IT infrastructure, servers, networks, and industrial systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance to ensure continuous refinery operations.
• Support refinery control systems, databases, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to protect critical refinery systems and data.
• Manage software updates, system backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to improve system efficiency.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and system configurations.
• Support digital transformation, automation, and system integration projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for IT and refinery operations.
• Provide technical support and training to end users when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT systems, industrial networks, or refinery operations.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with network infrastructure, firewalls, switches, and cybersecurity practices.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems, SCADA, DCS, or refinery operational technologies.
• Knowledge of database management and system integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in Oil \& Gas, petrochemical, or refinery environments is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Industrial IoT (IIoT) technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data management solutions.
• Understanding of OT cybersecurity standards and best practices.
• Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft, or related IT certifications are an advantage.
