Role Description
The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily front office operations to ensure exceptional guest service and smooth workflow. This role includes supervising front office staff, managing guest relations, handling reservations, and collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless and welcoming guest experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, operational expertise, and a customer-centric approach within a hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support front office staff to maintain high service standards during shifts.
- Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Monitor front office operations to ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
- Train, mentor, and motivate front office team members to foster professional growth and teamwork.
- Prepare and review daily reports, including occupancy, revenue, and guest feedback.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in front office or guest service roles, specifically within the hotel industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with hotel management systems (such as Opera) and MS Office.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Applicants must be Malaysian citizens.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
