Employment Type: Part-Time/Casual

Hours Per Week: Variable

Rate of Pay: $20-$26 Per Hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

-This position would begin in May.

-Must be able to tutor literacy (reading and writing) in French.

-Must have prior experience helping students with literacy in French. Prior tutoring or teaching experience is ideal.

-Tutor Match tutors are responsible for planning their own sessions (lesson planning) and doing their own assessments to gain understanding of where the student is at.

-Must be available to tutor in person in North Bay, Ontario and area. Having access to a vehicle is ideal to travel to student homes.

-It would be ideal if the candidate was available through the summer.

-The tutor must provide a recent criminal record check.

Qualifications/Education:

-Must have at least a high school diploma.

-Ideal candidate will be studying or have completed a related program such as Bachelor of Education, Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, etc.
