Freelance Video Editor

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Freelance Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing video content to a high standard, ensuring engaging and professional outputs across various projects. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work on diverse multimedia content, utilising a broad range of editing tools and techniques. The successful applicant will demonstrate a keen eye for detail, colour grading, and storytelling through visual media, contributing to the overall visual identity of our brand.

Duties

• Edit raw footage into polished videos that meet project specifications and deadlines
• Incorporate graphics, colour correction, sound, and special effects using Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions
• Organise and manage video assets efficiently within Adobe Creative Suite applications
• Enhance visual content through photography, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator as needed
• Create engaging titles, transitions, and animations to elevate video quality
• Ensure all edited videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across projects
• Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and multimedia production

Experience

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with photography is desirable but not essential
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus for creating supplementary visual content
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as a freelance professional with excellent organisational skills
• Prior experience working within the Adobe Creative Suite environment is essential
• Knowledge of colour grading techniques and sound editing is advantageous
