Freelance Video Editor

Brindin' Productions is looking for a creative and reliable Freelance Video Editor to collaborate with our team on a contract basis. You'll work on a diverse range of productions, from short-form social content to corporate films, documentaries, event coverage, and multi-camera productions.

This role is ideal for editors with a strong sense of storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit a variety of content, including social media videos, corporate productions, documentaries and event highlights.
• Assemble rough cuts, refine edits and prepare final deliverables.
• Edit multi-camera productions with multiple audio tracks and ensure proper synchronisation.
• Create basic motion graphics, animated text and simple visual elements where required.
• Perform basic colour correction, audio balancing and subtitle integration.
• Organise footage, maintain project files and follow established editing workflows.
• Collaborate with producers and directors to achieve the creative vision.
• Deliver projects within agreed timelines and revision rounds.

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience editing both short-form and long-form content.
• Confident in multi-camera editing and managing multiple audio tracks.
• Able to create basic motion graphics using Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro's Essential Graphics.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, rhythm and visual composition.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects independently.
• Good communication skills and responsive during project timelines.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with Adobe After Effects.
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience editing interviews, documentaries or corporate productions.
• Knowledge of colour grading and audio post-production.

Pay: $800.00 - $2,200.00 per month
