Freelance Children’s Photographer (Kindergarten Portraits)

Overview: We are seeking a high-energy, patient, and creative freelance photographer to capture individual and group portraits for our kindergarten classes. The ideal candidate isn't just someone who knows their way around a camera, but someone who can genuinely connect with children and turn a potentially stressful photo day into a fun experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality, engaging portraits of children aged 2–6.
• Manage group shots while keeping children focused and smiling.
• Bring out natural expressions through play, humor, and gentle guidance.
• Maintain a calm and positive environment, even when things get a little chaotic.

Requirements:

• Child Engagement: Proven experience working with young children is a plus. You should be comfortable getting on their level—literally and figuratively—to build trust quickly and capture the best angles..
• Extreme Patience: Ability to stay composed and encouraging if a child is shy, restless, or having a "tough" morning.
• Technical Proficiency: Professional-grade gear and a solid understanding of lighting for indoor/outdoor school settings.
• Reliability: Punctuality and a professional demeanor are essential for school environments.
