Freelance Motion Graphics Designer

Job Summary
We’re looking for a talented freelance Motion Graphics Designer (Remote, but MUST be able to work UK business hours) to join our team and help create high-quality video and static design assets for startups and brands across the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging visual content across various digital platforms, combining expertise in video editing, graphic design, and animation. This role offers flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to collaborate on innovative projects that require a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of visual storytelling.

As part of the creative team, you’ll work closely with our Creative Lead and Marketing Lead to execute engaging content across multiple clients, turning ambitious growth goals into smart campaigns, compelling launches, and scalable content systems.

Responsibilities

  • Designing motion graphics and animated content for social media, paid ads, product launches, websites, and brand campaigns
  • Editing and repurposing video content into high-performing short-form assets
  • Creating static visual assets including social posts, presentation graphics, ad creatives, and marketing materials
  • Maintaining brand consistency across multiple clients and industries
  • Translating marketing objectives into visually compelling creative
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer
  • Strong portfolio showcasing motion design, video editing, animation, and static creative work
  • Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma
  • Strong understanding of social-first content, paid media creatives, and branding
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely with a distributed team
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • MUST be available to work within UK business hours

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience working with startups, SaaS, tech, or high-growth brands
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted creative workflows and modern content production tools

  • Flexible workload depending on client projects, but availability during UK working hours is essential

Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
