We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Freelance Motion Designer to join us for an upcoming project. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our creative team to transform static concepts, storyboards, and design assets into visually stunning, high-impact motion graphics.

The ideal candidate has a strong command of animation principles, visual storytelling, and typography, alongside a professional portfolio demonstrating versatility across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Animation \& Execution: Design and produce high-quality 2D (and optionally 3D) motion graphics, kinetic typography, transitions, and animated assets for [insert platforms, e.g., social media, website, explainer videos, or event screens].
• Storyboarding \& Conceptualization: Collaborate with our creative directors and copywriters to review scripts, develop storyboards, and establish style frames.
• Asset Optimization: Edit raw assets, sync animations precisely with voiceovers/audio tracks, and render final outputs optimized for various digital formats and dimensions.
• Feedback \& Iteration: Actively participate in review cycles, implementing feedback efficiently while maintaining visual fidelity and brand guidelines.
• File Governance: Organize project files cleanly (layers, assets, composition pre-comps) to ensure seamless handoff or future adjustments.

Prerequisites \& Technical Skills

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in motion design, animation, or multimedia production (agency or tech-environment background is a plus).
• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Design Core: Strong foundational understanding of typography, color theory, layout composition, and timing/pacing principles.
• Portfolio Requirement: A link to an active showreel or portfolio demonstrating end-to-end motion projects is mandatory.

• Project Duration: Estimated 6 months
• Project Kickoff: July 2026
• Compensation/Budget: RM5000 to RM7000

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
