The Role

Perched above Auckland with views to match, QT Rooftop Bar is one of the city's most sought-after spots and we're looking for a part-time Food and Beverage Attendant to help keep it that way. This is a role for someone who brings personality to every pour, knows how to read a room and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy bar environment. You'll be serving up cocktails, great food and the kind of relaxed-but-polished service that keeps guests coming back. If you love the buzz of a rooftop at golden hour and take pride in doing hospitality properly, this is your kind of place.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and make them feel at home from the moment they arrive at the Rooftop.
• Take orders accurately, guide guests through the drinks and food menu and confidently accommodate dietary requirements and special requests.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and to presentation standard, keeping the Rooftop experience consistently on point.
• Keep your section clean, organised and guest-ready throughout service, from table resets to restocking the bar.
• Upsell thoughtfully, suggesting cocktails, beverages and menu items that genuinely elevate the guest experience.
• Collaborate closely with the bar and kitchen team and handle payments accurately, following all health, safety and hygiene protocols throughout.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a bar or beverage-focused hospitality role.
• A solid knowledge of cocktails, wine and beverage service (training will be provided).
• A genuine passion for service and the ability to read the room and adapt on the fly.
• Physical stamina to keep up with the demands of a busy rooftop service environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A current LCQ/Manager's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
