Flagman

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Flagman to assist with traffic and vehicle movement at the worksite. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding vehicles, equipment operators, and workers while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and control the movement of vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment at the worksite.
• Guide drivers and equipment operators during reversing, parking, loading, and unloading activities.
• Control traffic and pedestrian movement around active work areas.
• Use standard hand signals and communication methods to guide operators safely.
• Maintain safe distances between vehicles, equipment, workers, and pedestrians.
• Coordinate with supervisors and site teams regarding vehicle movement and worksite access.
• Ensure traffic-control procedures and site safety requirements are followed.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents to the supervisor.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Flagman, Banksman, Traffic Marshal, or similar role.
• Previous construction or industrial site experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of basic site safety and traffic-control procedures.
• Able to communicate clearly with drivers, operators, and site personnel.
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors and in different site conditions.
• Relevant Flagman/Banksman or safety certification will be an advantage.

Pay: QAR1,500.00 - QAR1,700.00 per month
