Job Summary

To handle pipe removal onboard, templating, fitting and re-installation works

Carry out hotwork activities like grinding, gas cutting and drilling.

Perform pressure testing of spools / systems when required

Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for accuracy of pipe fit up, maintain proper edge preparation and root pass gap.

Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.

To ensure personal safety and others inclusive.

In due diligence, to report any defects found on any tools and equipment to their foreman/supervisor.

Always maintain good housekeeping and safety at all the time onboard vessel \& workshop.

Key Requirements

2 Years above with relevant working experience (Prefer in Marine \& Maritime industry).

Good communication skills.

Good Knowledge of pipe fittings and pipe welding.

Competent to provide ideas/alternatives in delivering the assigned work.

Able to identify problem and take corrective actions.
