Job Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Fire \& Life Safety (FLS) Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and ensuring compliance of fire and life safety designs with Qatar Civil Defence (QCDD), local regulations, and international fire safety standards.

Candidates with extensive consultancy and building project experience in Qatar are encouraged to apply.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Mandatory)
• Valid QCDD Certificate (Mandatory)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Qatar
• Proven experience in Fire \& Life Safety (FLS) engineering
• Consultancy experience is mandatory
• Building project experience is mandatory
• Strong knowledge of QCDD regulations, Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS), and international fire safety codes (NFPA, IBC, IFC)
• Experience reviewing and coordinating Fire \& Life Safety designs and compliance documentation
• PWA (Ashghal) project experience preferred
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Must be currently available in Qatar
• Immediate joiners preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate Fire \& Life Safety designs for building projects
• Ensure compliance with QCDD requirements, QCS, and applicable NFPA standards
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Review fire strategy reports, evacuation plans, and life safety documentation
• Participate in design coordination meetings and resolve technical issues
• Conduct site inspections and monitor compliance with approved fire safety requirements
• Prepare technical reports and support authority approval processes
• Ensure all FLS deliverables meet project and regulatory requirements
