Your role at Clorox:

The FinOps Practice Lead will build and lead Clorox's enterprise FinOps capability, driving financial governance, cost optimisation, and value realisation across Cloud, AI, SaaS, and other consumption-based technologies. Working closely with Technology, Finance, Procurement, and business leaders, you'll establish the frameworks, processes, and governance needed to improve cost transparency, forecasting accuracy, and investment decision-making.In this role, you will:

The purpose of the FinOps Practice Lead role is to establish and lead Clorox's enterprise-wide FinOps capability, ensuring the company maximises the value of its investments in Cloud, AI, SaaS, and other consumption-based technologies. The role provides the governance, financial transparency, and cost optimisation needed to help technology teams make informed investment decisions, improve forecasting accuracy, and align technology spending with business outcomes.

By partnering across Technology, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Architecture, and the business, the FinOps Practice Lead will drive financial accountability, optimise technology consumption, and create a sustainable framework that enables innovation while controlling cost, managing risk, and delivering measurable business value.

As Clorox continues to increase its investment in Cloud, AI, SaaS, and other consumption-based technologies, managing these costs effectively has become critical to ensuring sustainable business value. The FinOps Practice Lead plays a key role in helping the organisation balance innovation with financial discipline.

This position provides the leadership, governance, and visibility needed to understand where technology spend is occurring, why it's occurring, and whether it is delivering the expected business outcomes. By establishing clear accountability, improving forecasting accuracy, and identifying optimisation opportunities, the role helps Clorox maximise the return on its technology investments while reducing unnecessary spend and risk.

Beyond cost management, the role is instrumental in enabling the responsible growth of emerging technologies such as AI and Generative AI. It ensures that technology decisions are aligned with enterprise priorities, that investments are scalable and sustainable, and that leaders have the insights needed to make informed decisions. Ultimately, the FinOps Practice Lead helps transform technology spending from a cost centre discussion into a strategic value and business outcome conversation.

What we look for:

• Demonstrated experience managing cloud costs across Azure, AWS, GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience advising cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers, Product Owners, engineers, architects, operations teams, Finance, and senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of cloud consumption models, reservations, commitments, licensing, and optimization techniques.
• Ability to evaluate end-to-end architecture and cost implications across interconnected technology platforms, including cloud, SaaS, ERP, data, and AI environments.
