Job Opening: Finishing Engineer – Civil
We are currently hiring for the position of Finishing Engineer – Civil.
Roles \& Responsibilities – Finishing Engineer (Civil)
- Supervise and execute all civil finishing works at site, including plastering, block work, tiling, painting, waterproofing, screeding, gypsum/false ceiling, and related activities.
- Ensure finishing works are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and work schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors, consultants, and other disciplines for smooth execution of finishing activities.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure timely completion of finishing works within project deadlines.
- Inspect workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements.
- Prepare work fronts, raise material requirements, and coordinate for timely availability of materials at site.
- Identify site issues and provide technical solutions related to finishing works.
- Attend inspections and rectify comments raised by consultants/client related to finishing activities.
- Maintain records of site progress, manpower deployment, and completed finishing activities.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety practices, and productivity at the finishing work areas.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience as a Finishing Engineer in civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of finishing works, including block work, plastering, tiling, painting, false ceiling, waterproofing, and related activities
- Ability to supervise site finishing activities and ensure work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Experience in coordinating with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
- Good understanding of project execution, quality control, and material follow-up
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
