Financial Systems Analyst

About the Role

Dollar 2 Dollars is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Systems Analyst to support the effective use, improvement, and maintenance of the company's financial systems and reporting processes.

The successful candidate will work at the intersection of finance, business operations, and technology, helping ensure that financial data is accurate, accessible, and efficiently processed. The role involves analyzing financial systems and workflows, supporting ERP and accounting applications, preparing reports and dashboards, identifying system issues, and working with finance and technical teams to improve business processes.

This position is well suited to a professional who understands both financial processes and information systems and can translate business requirements into practical technology and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and support financial systems, ERP platforms, accounting applications, and related business systems.
• Work with finance teams to understand system requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Monitor the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data across systems.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, data analyses, and management information.
• Develop and maintain automated reports and analytical tools using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Investigate system errors, data discrepancies, and reporting issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Assist with system implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Document financial processes, system procedures, requirements, and controls.
• Support integrations between financial systems and other business applications.
• Work with IT and finance stakeholders to troubleshoot system and data-related problems.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with financial data reconciliation and validation.
• Maintain appropriate controls over financial systems, access, and data.
• Provide support and guidance to finance users regarding system functionality and reporting.
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports for management as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial systems, financial analysis, business systems analysis, ERP support, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Practical experience with ERP or financial management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or comparable platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup functions, data analysis, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience with business intelligence or visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate financial/business requirements into system and reporting requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance, IT, and management teams.
• Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage for working in Kuwait.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting or implementing an ERP or financial management system.
• Experience with financial systems integration and APIs or other data interfaces.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and data governance.
• Experience with process automation and workflow improvement.
• Professional certification such as CMA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, or a relevant ERP certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in the Kuwaiti or GCC business environment is preferred.
