Figured is New Zealand's largest farm financial management platform - used by over 33,000 farms and their advisors. We started as a management reporting and planning tool. Now we are layering financial services on top of that foundation: working capital, livestock and whole-of-farm purchase loans, and derivatives that enables dairy farmers to lock in a minimum milk price for the season. The Opportunity

What You'll Do

Loans and credit

• Assess loan applications using the farm's financial data held in Figured
• Pull together credit summaries for the Lending Manager and our banking partners
• Gather information from farmers and their advisors to progress applications
• Keep documentation and compliance checks in order - and look for ways to make that process faster

Portfolio management

• Monitor how borrowers are tracking month to month - catching early warning signs before they become problems
• Prepare performance reports for our banking partners
• Help build better monitoring tools and reporting templates as we grow

Making things better

• Spot repetitive or slow processes and do something about them
• Build simple AI tools, smarter templates, or cleaner workflows - without waiting to be asked

What We're Looking For

You do not need to have done exactly this job before. But you will need:

• Experience in agri-banking or agri-accounting - you know the sector and you are comfortable with farm financials
• The ability to talk with farmers and rural accountants on their terms
• Good instincts for credit - you can read a set of financials and spot what matters
• Strong attention to detail and the organisational ability to keep multiple things moving at once
• Genuine curiosity about AI and technology - not as a buzzword, but as a practical way to do things better
