Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our fashion business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory and cost management, cash flow planning, financial controls, SOP implementation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Experience in fashion retail, garment manufacturing, or luxury retail is highly preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management \& Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy of Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, and profitability by brand, product category, and location.
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and UAE regulations.

Budgeting \& Forecasting

• Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor budget utilization and identify variances.
• Prepare financial projections and business performance reports.
• Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Costing \& Profitability Analysis

• Calculate product costing, landed cost, and production cost.
• Analyze gross margin and profitability by SKU, collection, and sales channel.
• Monitor manufacturing and operational costs.
• Recommend pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Inventory \& Stock Management

• Oversee inventory valuation and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory turnover and aging reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of stock movements.
• Work closely with production, logistics, and warehouse teams.
• Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stock loss and shrinkage.

Cash Flow \& Treasury Management

• Manage company cash flow and working capital.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Ensure timely supplier and vendor payments.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and funding requirements.

Finance Operations \& Compliance

• Establish and maintain finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and statutory requirements.
• Review contracts, payment terms, and financial risks.
• Improve financial workflows and process efficiency.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor the finance team.
• Conduct performance reviews and training.
• Collaborate with departments including Sales, Production, Logistics, Procurement, and HR.

RequirementsQualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent certification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 5–8 years of finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in Fashion, Retail, Apparel Manufacturing, Luxury Retail, or E-commerce preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory costing and retail finance operations.

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
• ERP experience (Zoho, Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
• Knowledge of VAT and UAE Corporate Tax.
• Financial reporting and dashboard preparation.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
