About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance / Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Finance Manager is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and support for the daily operations of the Finance Department. This position plays a key role in financial management, reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, and accounting standards. The Finance Manager provides guidance and support to staff and departments while promoting effective financial practices, continuous improvement, accountability, and responsible stewardship of municipal resources.
